Tim has been involved in the music industry for over 15 years. He started blueNote in 2002 to provide a more professional karaoke and entertainment service for the Richmond area. Since then, blueNote has attracted some of the best local singers around.
Along with Karaoke, DJ Services, and Professional Vocalists, blueNote offers something specialTim performing as ELVIS! He has been a fan of Elvis since childhood and has spent years perfecting his stage performance. You will be amazed with his vocal ability and charismatic stage presence. Tim has performed extensively as Elvis all up and down the east coast
Amee started performing at the Haymarket as Annie at the age of nine and has been singing and dancing ever since. She spent five years with Royal Caribbean Cruise lines where she performed all over the world. In addition, she was head of entertainment for Kings Dominion for 5 years as well.
Tim and Amee have 5 adorable children, Lexi 13, Kallie 10, Crew 9, Tim 9 and Westin 5. All of them are performers in their own right. Ha!
Blue Note DJ has over 15 years of wedding dj experience. Each reception is as unique as the bride and groom themselves. blueNote staff will design the reception entertainment around you. We will start by getting to know you with our wedding questionnaire. Once this is completed we will contact you to go over the events of the evening (first dance, cake cutting, toast, etc.) The reception is a celebration of your union and it should reflect you and partners style.
We can even have a preselected playlists of your choosing for cocktail hour, dinner and dancing or any other special time during the event. Most of our events are handled by the owners themselves. Each of our djs are also talented singers and can provide that special personal touch to make your reception stand out from all others.
There are a lot of Elvis Impersonators but there are a select few that show a tremendous amount of respect for the individual they are imitating. Tim is one of those performers. He will be the first to tell you that there is only one Elvis. This respect reflects in Tims Salute to Elvis performance. Whether it is at an outdoor music festival or an intimate private party the same level of professionalism and intensity is delivered. Many times during Tims performances the audience is unsure whether or not Tim is actually singing. Tim considers this ultimate compliment because he is singing every note. Elvis recorded close to 700 songs during his lifetime and Tim sings them all including Elvis gospel and Christmas. Tim even performs what is considered to be the most difficult Elvis song Hurt.

Tim and his crew can handle anything from basic DJ services to Karaoke, all the way up to a full stage show. In fact, he has organized shows for us with almost a dozen different entertainers and performed for crowds of over 800 people.
Tims salute to ELVIS is one of the best. His voice and stage presence are incredible. Tim has the ability to sing and move like ELVIS but adds just the right touch of modesty that he knows his performances are always a tribute to the King of Rock-n-Roll.

Where do I begin? Tim has the biggest heart of anyone I know, besides being the best ELVIS I ever heard. I just met Tim last year. I am the Queen Mother of a Red Hat Society Chapter. We were planning a Sock Hop to raise money for Breast Cancer and we were given Tims name as an ELVIS contact. I contacted himso we could all meet him and see what we thought. We asked him for a sample of what he does and were we in for a surprise. He opened his mouth and started singing and blew all of us away. He is fantastic!! There was so much electricity in that room because of his performance. He interacts with the guests and makes everyone feel special. He is a wonderful performer. The best part of the whole night was that he had donated his time for Brest Cancer. Our Chapter has [now] adopted him.
